Frequently Asked Questions

This depends on your individual skin type. Some people may be able to tan in 24 hours but it is recommended that you wait 48 hours between tanning sessions.

This depends on your skin type, equipment you are using and how many times a week you are using it.  While some people may get a “base” tan in a few sessions it may take others three times a week for several weeks. If you desire immediate results while you are building your base airbrush tanning is a great way to enhance the color you currently have.  You can airbrush your full body, legs, upper body or just your face.

The human eye can suffer permanent damage from UV exposure.  The eyes have no natural protection from UV light!

I’ve heard many people say, “I forgot my tanning goggles, I’ll just keep my eyes closed”. While this may work a few times without noticing any blurred vision or damage to your eyes, the reality is that without tanning goggles you will be damaging your eyes. Your eyelids only protect you against about 25% of the UV rays from a tanning bed. Only using your eyelids as protection can cause short term damage to your eyes and some of the symptoms include: puffy eyelids, red-itchy eyes, watery eyes, and of course sunburn on your eyelids! These are all signs that you may have given your eyes a sunburn or short term damage. The purpose of having tanning goggles is to prevent any damage to your eyes from the UV rays within the tanning bed.

The human eyelid is too thin to protect the eyes from ultraviolet radiation, so merely closing your eyes is simply not enough protection. Draping a towel across your face does not block the UV either, it only filters it. UV rays can pass through objects which is why they can be very dangerous in large amounts. Without goggles for indoor tanning, you risk burns to the cornea, cataracts, and retinal damage.

Sniff it! Just kidding!!!!

We use an FDA approved cleaning solution after every client’s session. The solution is tested to ensure it is properly mixed.  We provide hand sanitizer in each tanning suite for customer use.

Each tanning room is private so you can wear (or not wear) whatever you wish.  Keep in mind those areas of the body that have “not seen the sun” will initially be more susceptible to burn.  It is recommend your cover these areas with a towel and remove the towel a few minutes before your session ends to gradually tan these sensitive areas.
